PR pro and former radio DJ, Bre Ferguson, moved to Dallas with no job and only $700 in her checking account. She didn’t even want to live in Dallas, but she felt she was being called to the city. That pull was her faith, and it’s been her guiding light to success over the last decade.
Bre and I get into:
- How colorism and proximity to whiteness affected our experience at past employers
- Demonstrating leadership despite your job title or “being at the bottom”
- Her journey of faith and staying centered in Christ while making her dreams come true
- How to discover your God-given purpose in life
- What we can do better in the Black community as it relates to mental health
- And what Bre experienced when her ex-boyfriend was killed by law enforcement
